Why I Can't Seem To Get More Posts On This Blog These Days!!

I have heard from a few of you that you miss more update or current posts. Well, if you had to run after a child like my Baby Bear, you'd understand. For me, this motherhood thing is a BITCH!!!
The boy was walking (without assistance) since he was 8 months. But now, at 15 months, he's figured out how to climb onto everything. So now, we can never leave that boy alone! He's determined to play with (i.e., destroy) everything above 2 feet now.
Here's a cute version of what I'm talking about...

Now, I gotta run because the boy is climbing on my boxed dissertation files trying to manhandle everything on daddy's table.

I think it's clear he's climbing up in the hopes getting better reception. Can you hear me now? Good!

Very cute!

If only that were so, John! I should have taken a pic of the bookshelves in their current state or disarray so you'd understand. Why hasn't anyone invented shock collars for toddlers yet?

They invented bracelets that let you trace them if they ran away in malls, but civil rights people intervened and said it was a toddler's civil right to run away from its exhausted traumatised parent and get lost and traumatised itself.
Spoil sports.
Anyway, been there, three times, survived (just, but I have several years of amnesia owing to severe sleep deprivation and important things like my Andy Stewart cassette getting trashed). You'll get out of it eventually...
I hear Daddy has become much more articulate since his University days.
(Ehm, that's a joke).
All the best!
Jane :-)

I don't know how it's possible for any woman with a child to find the time to do anything other than look after him or her. So, stop apologizing for neglecting your blog! You write more than me, and I'm still several light years away from having children (and, apparently, a real job - there are no teaching jobs here! The only ones I can find are $9 per hour! I sometimes wonder why I ever bothered going to uni).

Oh Peggy! I cried when I read your blog. It has been too long and I know I am the world's shittiest friend for not being better about communication. And, I dont even have a kid! No excuse for me. Just to say I love you and miss you like hell. Have been thinking of you for some time and meaning to write but I lost my phone and 5 years of data on my stupid Sidekick. Needless to say I have no way to find your contact info except via the worldwide web.I have had a rough summer and thus have been out of the loop with almost everyone I care about. I will call, but need your phone # and also email. I think you may still have mine.
Love you and lot of hugs to your beautiful boys. Ruben is amazing, just like his mom.
Love,
Sharyn
ps- wish I lived in the UK now as the US is crumbling and the thought of a McCain/Palin administration is enough to make me run away from here like my hair is on fire.
